Overnight Boarding Policies & Rates
Overnight boarding includes:
2 structured exercise sessions per day
additional potty breaks as needed
social time with Day Camp pack (dog dependent)
reinforcement of previous training
photo/video updates via text, twice daily
Expectations for your dog’s stay:
For everyone’s safety, all dogs are crated overnight and when unsupervised.
Acquainted dogs with appropriate social skills may walk, play, or relax together.
Reactive or overly excited dogs with inappropriate social skills may not interact directly.
All dogs will remain on leash or drag a long line when exploring off my property.
When deciding how and where your dog spends time, I will consider safety and health first.
My partner may help with potty breaks, but otherwise cares for dogs only in case of an emergency.
What to pack:
flat collar with ID tags
slip lead or prong with safety strap
meds and written instructions, if applicable
food in an airtight container (include 1-2 extra meals, just in case)
Please note: I have plenty of everything (crates, crate pads, blankets, toys, bowls, treats, etc.) and very much appreciate you packing lightly!
Health Record Requirement:
All boarding clients are required to provide written proof of the following vaccinations (or their equivalent, as agreed upon by your veterinarian):
Rabies
Distemper
Bordetella
Vaccination records can be requested from your vet’s office and do not cost anything to obtain. Thank you all for doing your part to keep everyone safe and healthy!

Check-out: 4-7pm (exact timing is communicated in the booking confirmation)
If I am providing transportation, I will communicate a two-hour pick-up window at the time of booking, and I will text an updated ETA when I am on my way. Transportation fees are listed below:
0-5 miles from Dogs in Progress: $20/trip
5+ miles from Dogs in Progress: $40/trip
If you are providing transportation:
You will be asked to select a 30-minute window for both drop-off and pick-up at the time of booking. Please also text an updated ETA when you are on your way to my home.
When you arrive, please park on the street (do NOT block the driveway), leave your dog in your car, and call or text me. I will come collect your dog from your vehicle directly. This ensures a calm handoff.
Please do not say goodbye to your dog verbally or via physical affection. This increases excitement and/or anxiety and makes the transition more difficult for your dog.
